India Visa Policy to be Reciprocal

Indian Visa Application is now available to all foreigners online. Government of India has now opened Indian Medical Visa and Indian Business Visa, the Tourist Visa which has been closed because of COVID 19  is just round the corner to be opened.

However Indian Immigration is now taking an innovative stance on its Immigration and Visa Policy. The treatment, policy, duration, pricing and other factors will be changed based on how the other countries treat Indians applying for Visa in other countries.

This reciprocal arrangement will be made for Indian Tourist Visa.

Vaccination Certificate for Indian Tourist Visa

Indian Immigration is also considering vaccine passport, that is, to allow those into India freely, who have completed both doses of vaccines. The pandemic has upended the tourism industry in India and now the Ministry of Home Affairs is keen to open up the country. The Ministry is also considering home isolation for visitors who do not have vaccine.

Indian Visa is now sought after the Tourists who are seeking to travel Heritage Sites in India. Around 1 Million Tourists were visiting India each month prior to the pandemic.


Citizens of many countries including Qatari citizens, Spanish citizens, New Zealand citizens, Australian citizens and Austrian citizens are eligible to apply for Indian e-Visa.
